Tackles scripture from a broad-thinking, feminist perspective... Smart and impressive.” - Publishers Weekly

You are invited to a dinner and book signing! Dr. Julie Faith Parker will launch her latest book, Eve Isn’t Evil: Feminist Readings of the Bible to Upend Our Assumptions. First, we will gather for supper. Then Dr. Parker will introduce us to her book, Eve Isn’t Evil.

Intertwining academic knowledge and candid, personal, and sometimes humorous stories, Julie Faith Parker helps readers engage biblical texts with both mind and heart--to learn the Bible’s stories, explore theological ideas, question common assumptions, develop interpretive skills, and grow in faith. Come and hear how Dr. Parker was called to write this book, as well as what she hopes this book might do for you.

Dinner in Room 307, 6:00pm ($25); Program in the Sanctuary, also on Zoom, 7:00pm.

Those in attendance will be able to purchase copies of Eve Isn’t Evil for the discounted price of $20 and have them personally inscribed by Dr. Parker.
