Message by Dr. P. Kimberleigh Jordan, currently Associate Director of Educational Design at the Wabash Center for Teaching and Learning in Theology and Religion, and former Associate Minister at Marble.

Rev. P. Kimberleigh Jordan, Ph.D.

Dr. Kimberleigh is a clergywoman and the Associate Director of Educational Design at the Wabash Center for Teaching and Learning in Theology and Religion. Jordan has served as Assistant Professor of Religion, Arts, and Black Studies on the faculty at Drew University Theological School, as well as teaching Dance History in the Fordham University/Ailey BFA program and Alvin Ailey American Dance Center. She was also a Ford Postdoctoral Fellow at Union Theological Seminary.

Her ministerial passions include the arts, Christian spirituality and formation, and creative imagination in sacred spaces. Dr. Kimberleigh served as Associate Minister at Marble Collegiate Church, under the Rev. Dr. Arthur Caliandro. Her ministry included assignments as pastoral advisor and congregational care for the Marble Women’s Ministry, Marble Connection, GIFTS, and the Arts Fellowship. She later served as Director of Worship at the Riverside Church and Director of the Chapel at Drew.

Dr. Kimberleigh completed her Ph.D. in Performance Studies at NYU and M.Div. at Union Seminary. Prior to seminary, she was a professional dancer and studied on scholarship at the Dance Theatre of Harlem. She and the Rev. John Vaughn have been married for twenty years, and are the proud parents of two dynamic teens.
