Watch Party with CYF & GIFTS: "Love, Simon" - Online
The Youth of Marble’s CYF Ministry and GIFTS: LGBTQ+ Fellowship get together for a virtual Watch Party to view the romantic comedy-drama Love, Simon.*
Love, Simon is an American film that centers on Simon Spier, a closeted gay high school boy who struggles to balance his friends, his family, and the blackmailer threatening to out him to the entire school, while simultaneously attempting to discover the identity of the anonymous classmate with whom he has fallen in love online.
Following the film, Rev. Brittany Hanlin and Rev. Anthony Livolsi chat about what we’ve seen, leaving the door open for questions and comments about gender expression and identity and what it means to be queer.

*Love, Simon was released by 20th Century Fox and praised for its big heart, diverse and talented cast, and revolutionary normalcy, and described as a "hugely charming crowd-pleaser" that is "funny, warm-hearted and life-affirming." Notable as the first film by a major Hollywood studio to focus on a gay teenage romance.
