Actor, Singer and LGBTQ Activist
All-Church Virtual PRIDE Breakfast
Miss Lawrence (née Lawrence Washington), actor, singer and LGBTQ activist, is our special guest to celebrate PRIDE 2021. Rev. Brittany Juliette Hanlin joins Miss L in a conversation about living openly and joyfully, without boundaries, as the person that God intended.
“I am blessed to live my dreams every day, but I know that there are so many who are not able to or are afraid to,” Miss Lawrence says. “By participating in these discussions, I hope to help bring those in the shadows of the LGBTQ community out into the light.”
Miss Lawrence became known on the reality TV show “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” His television appearances include Bravo’s “Fashion Queens,” CBS’s “The Insider,” and BET’s “Rip the Runway.” He recently appeared in the film The United States vs. Billie Holiday.
Miss Lawrence uses his celebrity to support causes in which he believes, especially those related to racial justice, eradicating homophobia and promoting a positive view of the LGBTQ community.
This program via Zoom is open to all; co-sponsored by GIFTS: LGBTQ Fellowship and Children, Youth & Families (CYF) Ministry.
