Get together with your friends for a pleasant walk on Governor’s Island hosted by Marble’s Women’s Ministry. We will enjoy a leisurely stroll to appreciate the open setting and a stellar view of lower Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty. The island features lots of activities including a guided walking tour.

Transportation to Ferry Terminal:
Subway: 1 – Whitehall St-South Ferry stop

R/W – Whitehall St-South Ferry stop

4/5 – Bowling Green stop

Bus: M15, M20, M55

Meeting Time:
Gather by 10:40am at The Battery Maritime Building, 10 South Street (adjacent to the Staten Island Ferry)

End time:
2:30pm – Start to collect your things; visit the restrooms

2:45pm – Walk to Ferry

3:00pm – Ferry back to Manhattan

Ferry Tickets:
Reserve before 12 Noon and it’s free. After 12 Noon, the ticket is $2.75. Reserve tickets online a few days in advance, so you get appropriate time. Masks are required while riding the ferry.

Meeting place on Governor’s Island Park:

Optional guided walking tours leave from the Soissons Landing Welcome Center lobby on Saturdays at 10:45am, 12:45pm, 2:45pm.

Suggestions of what to bring:
Water, snacks/lunch, chairs, hats, sunscreen, sunglasses. Note: food trucks start serving at 12 Noon but their food supply is limited.
