Small Groups

Our Small Groups are designed to be missional, transformational and relational. They change us, help us grow, and get us to go out and do good in the world.

In Matthew 18:20 Jesus says, For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.

2022 Online Small Groups

For the Beauty of the Earth

It’s an “Inconvenient Truth”, as Al Gore told us in his film from 2006. But, we believe that, unlike Jack Nicholson‘s character in A Few Good Men, you CAN handle the truth.

We continue the conversation begun by the congregational film showing of Eating You ALIVE to expand on our knowledge that what we choose to eat impacts our bodies - our “temple” - and our planet.

Through a 4-week small group program, during one-hour sessions, we will engage in a discussion centered around the challenges and, most importantly, the solutions, relevant to our food choices.

As we all know, making change is a process and we are prepared to approach this program from that perspective.

A balance between our food choices and facing the uncomfortable truths about how they can impact our health and the health of our planet and making ethical choices as stewards of God’s Earth is in our hands.

Register Online, or contact Baleta McKenzie, (212) 686-2770 ext. 219. FREE of charge.

Meets ONLINE via Zoom from 5:30 to 6:30pm, Mondays, May 16 thru June 6. Led by Susan Philips & Mary Starrs Boyle.

Tell Us Your Story. We Will Listen.

Join with a few new and old friends as we take turns telling and listening, with joy and reverence, to each of our stories. The telling may include childhood memories, work-life experiences, your favorite (or least) things, and your faith journey. By sharing our stories and by listening to others, we may see how we are all limbs of the great and glorious “tree of life” and how each branch, twig, and leaf in our individual experiences has value.

As Dr. Greg Lozier, Marble’s Board Chairperson, said recently in Marble’s annual report, “Telling our stories is one of the strongest ways to share and express gratitude for what God has done in our lives.”

We would love to hear your story.
