Our Small Groups are designed to be missional, transformational and relational. They change us, help us grow, and get us to go out and do good in the world.
In Matthew 18:20 Jesus says, For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.
Contact Baleta McKenzie (212) 686-2770 ext 219 if you are interested in an upcoming group.

A Long-Ago BIRTH in a Right-Now WORLD:
Reflections about the CHRISTMAS STORY in Our Age & Lives
Author Dr. Michael B. Brown
The Story becomes our story and brings the meaning of Bethlehem from a manger to our doorsteps, where it intersects with our personal needs and fears, hopes and dreams, priorities, relationships, and spiritual journeys in an oftentimes challenging world.
Rev. Susanah Wade and Baleta McKenzie will lead the group.
Dr. Michael B. Brown, Marble's former Senior Minister and author, will join us for a Q&A session on Zoom, Wednesday, December 14 at 6:00pm.
Meets Online Fridays, December 2, 9 & 16 from 6:00-7:00pm. A Zoom link will be emailed to all participants before the first meeting. The same link will be used for all meeting sessions.
Songs of the Faithful: Studies in Psalms
Did you know the book of Psalms was written over several centuries and was the hymnbook of ancient Israel? The book is filled with songs and poems of celebration, lament, confidence, confusion, clarity and hope. It is a book that spans the varying stages of Israel’s faith and moods as they experienced the exile to Babylon, the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem (several times!) and their commitment to hold fast to the faith in challenging times.
Come be. part of a study of the Psalms using the resource written by Rev. Brown - Songs of the Faithful: Studies in the Psalms. Please purchase the book in advance of the study. We will use the Learner Guide. The group will be led by Rev. Elise Brown.
Meets In-Person Mondays, January 2, 9, 23 & 30 and February 6 & 13 from 6:00-7:00pm in Peale Parlor. We will not meet on MLK Day, January 16.
Sharing Our Stories
Join with a few new and old friends as we take turns sharing and listening, with joy and reverence, to each of our stories.
The telling may include childhood memories, work-life experiences, your favorite (or least favourite) things, your faith journey, and more.
Dr. Greg Lozier, Marble’s Board Chairperson said, “Telling our stories is one of the strongest ways to share and express gratitude for what God has done in our lives.”
We look forward to hearing your story.
The group will be co-led by Baleta McKenzie, Abby Shue, and Susan Philips.
Meets Online Sundays, January 8, 15, 22 & 29 from 1:30-2:30pm. A Zoom link will be emailed to all participants before the first meeting. The same link will be used for all meeting sessions.
