Talk Back: A Conversation About Race - Online
There is so much unrest around us and within us that it is important for us to gather together and talk about the unjust and sinful acts toward people of color through the lens of our faith. Therefore, we have postponed the Hymn Sing so we can have a crucial conversation about race. This Sunday, June 7, immediately after Worship, please join Dr. Michael Bos, Dr. Elise Brown, Rev. Brittany Juliette Hanlin, Rev. Anthony Livolsi, Rev. Rashad McPherson and Rev. Susanah Wade as we commit to reflecting more about who we are as a church and having on-going conversations, sometimes uncomfortable ones, about how racism manifests itself with us, between us, and in our organizations. Know we are committed for the long haul. You may submit questions on Sunday through the live stream chat or use the “Submit Talk Back Questions” button on the live stream page. We will continue the conversation on race immediately after Worship on June 14, through the eyes, voices and creative imagination of Marble artists. Stay tuned for more information about this important discussion.
