CYF: Spreading God’s Love One Sandwich at a Time

On Saturday, February 11, the Youth Group sponsored a Valentine’s service event called Spreading God’s Love One Sandwich at a Time. We partnered with the non-profit organization One Sandwich at a Time whose mission is to combat hunger in New York and beyond. The Marble Youth, CYF families, and even a family from West End Collegiate came together to make sandwiches for the hungry and homeless of New York City, and each sandwich included a personal Valentine with words of encouragement and God’s love. In total, we were able to donate 162 sandwiches to The Bowery Mission, giving much-needed nourishment and hope to those who society so often overlooks.
