(Matthew 11:28-30): A twelve-foot image of the Welcoming Christ, above the Fifth Avenue entrance to Marble Church, faces outward to embrace the world – the ultimate symbol of love and acceptance beckoning all to enter and find sanctuary amidst the trials of life. New York City, often acknowledged as the “crossroads of the world,” serves as a backdrop for Jesus. He stands at the head of a multi-colored garden lane with his arms outstretched to those who pass by, suggesting the path that leads to Him.

This “people’s window” is a gift from the congregation and friends of Marble Collegiate Church to honor Dr. Arthur Caliandro for his 42 years of ministry. All are welcome here.
